Green Packet Rises Most in 16 Months on Broadband Plan

Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Green Packet Bhd., a Malaysian wireless Internet services provider, rose the most in more than 16 months after saying it may begin high-speed broadband and possibly online television operations by the first quarter of next year.

Its shares gained 6.9 percent to 69.5 sen in Kuala Lumpur trading at 9:34 a.m. local time, set for their biggest increase since May 27, 2010.
