Greek Austerity Bill Passed at Parliament Committee Level

Oct. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Greece’s new package of austerity measures including wage and pension cuts and plans to dismiss as many as 30,000 state workers was approved to proceed to a plenary session in Parliament.

The approval was announced by lawmakers on the relevant committees in the Parliament in Athens today.
