Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies may be active in Russian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are from the previous close, unless noted otherwise.
The 30-stock Micex Index declined 0.6 percent to 1,388.77.
OAO Gazprom (GAZP RX): The world’s largest gas exporter sold $200 million of six-month euro commercial paper, which will pay annual interest of 3.5 percent, RIA Novosti said, citing an unidentified banker. Shares lost 1.7 percent to 158.55 rubles.
OAO Rosneft (ROSN RX): Oil dropped after rising U.S. stockpiles suggested flagging fuel demand in the world’s largest economy. Russia’s biggest oil producer fell 1.5 percent to 195.06 rubles.
Polyus Gold International Ltd. (PLGL LI): Gold fell in New York as gains in the dollar curbed demand for the precious metal as an alternative asset. Russia’s biggest gold producer fell 0.9 percent to $3.19 in London.
