Euro Strengthens Versus Dollar; Gains 0.2 Percent to $1.3817

Oct. 13 (Bloomberg) -- The euro strengthened against the dollar, gaining 0.2 percent to $1.3817 as of 8:30 a.m. in London.

The 17-nation common currency pared a decline versus the yen to trade little changed at 106.52, after weakening as much as 0.4 percent to 106.12.
