Wheat Futures Extend Slide in Chicago, Drop as Much as 5.9%

Oct. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Wheat futures for December delivery fell 5.6 percent to $6.2375 a bushel at 9:52 a.m. on the Chicago Board of Trade, heading for the biggest decline since Sept. 30. Earlier, the contract dropped as much as 5.9 percent. Yesterday, wheat rose 8.1 percent.
