Oct. 12 (Bloomberg) -- The Czech Republic’s grain harvest may rise 19.4 percent this year to 8.2 million tons, the Prague- based Czech Statistical Office said in the September harvest forecast published on its website today.
The harvest estimate rose from 7.02 million tons that the Statistics Office forecast in August. The grain harvest totaled 6.17 million tons in 2010, according to the Statistics Office data.
