Oct. 12 (Bloomberg) -- China kept its oil-product import quota for non-state companies unchanged for 2012.
Qualified private companies will be allowed to import as much as 16.2 million metric tons of oil products next year, the same as for 2011, the Ministry of Commerce said in a statement on its website.
China increased the oil-product import quota for independently owned companies to 14.09 million tons in 2010 from 11.25 million tons in 2009.
