Oct. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Seychelles swore in new lawmakers today after the ruling People’s Party won all seats in a parliamentary election boycotted by the main opposition party, according to a live broadcast on Seychelles Broadcasting Corp.
The Seychelles National Party, led by Wavel Ramkalawan, pulled out of the parliamentary vote held from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1. President James Michel’s People’s Party members will occupy 31 seats in the Indian Ocean archipelago’s parliament.
