Portugal to Raise Value-Added Tax at Restaurants, Diario Reports

Oct. 11 (Bloomberg) -- The Portuguese government plans to raise the valued-added tax rate charged at restaurants to 23 percent from 13 percent, Diario Economico reported, citing a preliminary version of the 2012 budget proposal.
