Oct. 11 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Mexico trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 12:41 p.m. Mexico City time.
The IPC index rose 0.6 percent to 33,744.72.
Desarrolladora Homex SAB (HOMEX* MM), Mexico’s largest homebuilder, advanced 0.7 percent to 29.97 pesos as Scotia Capital equity analyst Marcos Duran Y Casahonda raised its shares to “sector outperform” from “sector perform” with a 12-month target price of 49 pesos.
Minera Frisco SAB (MFRISCOA MM), the mining company controlled by billionaire Carlos Slim, rose 0.7 percent to 50 pesos as silver futures for December delivery gained as much as 1.8 percent, the fourth advance in five days.
