Masuko Says Strong Yen Biggest Problem for Mitsubishi Motors

Oct. 11 (Bloomberg) -- The strength of the Japanese yen is the biggest problem facing Mitsubishi Motors Corp. as it hurts the automaker’s export competitiveness, President Osamu Masuko said in Chengdu, China today.

Mitsubishi is on track to meet its 2011 sales targets despite the economic uncertainties in Europe and U.S., Masuko said.
