Gingrich Says He Would Fire Bernanke If He Is President

Oct. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said he would fire Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke if he becomes president.
Fixing the U.S. economy will require a leader to “go after the politicians who have been at the heart of the sickness,” Gingrich said at a debate sponsored by Bloomberg LP and The Washington Post in Hanover, New Hampshire.
