Wacker Chemie Starts Polysilicon Production at Nuenchritz Plant

Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Wacker Chemie AG began producing hyperpure polycrystalline silicon at its Nuenchritz, Germany, site. The full nominal capacity of some 15,000 metric tons annually is expected to be operational in the second quarter of 2012, three moths earlier than planned.
