Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Former Capitalia SpA Chief Executive Officer Matteo Arpe may join Banca Popolare di Milano Scarl’s management board, said Marcello Messori, a candidate to become chairman of the bank.
Messori, who leads one of the five lists of candidates for the new supervisory board that will be elected Oct. 22, said he contacted Arpe for a role at the bank, according to an e-mailed statement.
Arpe said he was “available in principle,” Messori said. Arpe doesn’t own shares in the bank, Messori said.
