Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Ansys Ltd., a designer of transport and defense-monitoring systems, climbed to its highest in almost five months in Johannesburg trading after saying earnings per share rose to as much as 4.47 cents in the six months to Aug. 31, from 0.21 cents a year earlier.
The shares advanced 26 percent to close at 34 cents as of 5 p.m., the highest since May 13.
