Foxconn Board to Discuss Brazil Investment, IG Says

Oct. 7 (Bloomberg) -- The board of directors of Foxconn Technology Group will come to Brazil next week to discuss $12 billion in investment over the next four years, a columnist at Sao Paulo-based news website IG said, citing a speech made in Italy by Brazil’s Technology Minister Aloizio Mercadante.

The company may build the first touchscreen plant in Brazil, columnist Guilherme Barros said, citing Mercadente.
