Thai Flood Death Toll Rises to 252; 28 Provinces Inundated

Oct. 7 (Bloomberg) -- The death toll from flooding in Thailand rose to 252, and 28 provinces remain submerged, according to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation.

Heavy rain since July 25 has caused flooding in 60 of the country’s 77 provinces and displaced 2.7 million people, the agency said on its website.
