Roesler Says ‘Emphatic’ German Aim to Keep All 17 States in Euro

Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- German Economy Minister Philipp Roesler said it is his country’s “emphatic” aim to keep all 17 members of the euro in the single currency.

In a speech to a group of businessmen in Athens tonight, Roesler said his proposals for the future European Security Mechanism, called ESM, that are aimed at helping states forced to tap the rescue fund, underline that goal.
