Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The ruling Liberal Party has won tonight’s election in Ontario, Global Television projected, based on early returns.

Global did not project whether the Liberals, led by Premier Dalton McGuinty, will win a majority or minority of the seats in the province’s legislature.
