Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA, Colombia’s second-biggest electricity distributor, will offer to sell up to 1 trillion pesos of shares ($512 million) in local market starting today.
EEB, as the company is known, will offer to sell 538.5 million shares at 1,300 pesos each and raise the offer to 769.2 million shares if there is sufficient demand, it said in a statement published today in La Republica newspaper. The offer runs through Oct. 27, according to the statement.
