Crude Oil Declines in New York, Reversing Yesterday’s Gain

Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Oil reversed gains in New York, falling 0.6 percent.

Crude for November delivery dropped 51 cents to $79.17 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. It rose earlier as much as 1.8 percent to $81.15. The contract gained 5.3 percent yesterday. Prices are down 13 percent this year.
