Bastide, Technicolor, Total, Valeo, Vinci: French Equity Preview

Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Shares in the following companies may have unusual moves in Paris trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last close.

France’s CAC 40 Index rose 4.3 percent to 2,973.90. The broader SBF 120 Index gained 4.1 percent to 2,264.35.

Bastide le Confort Médical (BLC FP): The provider of home health-care services said full-year net income rose to 3.23 million euros from 2.86 million euros a year earlier. Bastide will propose a dividend of 15 euro-cents a share. The shares rose 3.2 percent to 6.86 euros.

MRM (MRM FP): The real-estate investment company announced a 10.3 million-euro sale of office properties. The shares were unchanged at 6.50 euros.

Technicolor SA (TCH FP): The media production company said it requested amendments to its debt documentation to increase its strategic flexibility. The shares rose 2.5 percent to 2.08 euros.

Total SA (FP FP): Total’s Zaedyus oil field in French Guiana and its Aquio deposit in Bolivia each hold at least 500 million barrels of oil or equivalents, Denis Palluat de Besset, head of the company’s Brazilian unit, said at an event in Rio de Janeiro. The shares gained 3 percent to 33.25 euros.

Valeo SA (FR FP): The car parts maker said it bought back 670,000 shares today to cover options and savings plans. The shares rose 7.8 percent to 31.09 euros.

Vinci SA (DG FP): The construction company said it won a 237 million-euro contract to build a hospital complex in New Caledonia beginning in January. The shares rose 4.3 percent to 31.90 euros.
