Absa Says S. Africa House Prices Rose Average 5.2% in September

Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Absa Group Ltd. said the price of a medium-sized house in South Africa rose an average 5.2 percent in September froma year earlier.

The average nominal price of small houses fell 1.8 percent and the price for large house increased by 0.5 percent, the Johannesburg-based lender said in an e-mailed statement today.
