Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- The World Bank approved $172 million of credit to install solar power systems in 630,000 homes in rural Bangladesh that lack connections to the electricity grid.
State-run Infrastructure Development Co. will install the systems in 2012, the bank said in a statement on its website.
