Taipower Starts Operating Taiwan’s Biggest Solar Plant

Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Taiwan Power Co., known as Taipower, has completed and started operating a 4.6-megawatt solar plant, the island’s biggest, Roger Lee, spokesman for the state-run utility, said by telephone in Taipei today.

The new plant has almost doubled the company’s installed solar capacity to about 10 megawatts, Lee said.
