Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Chief Executive Officer Choi Gee Sung offered condolences over Apple Chairman Steve Jobs’ death, according to an e-mailed statement from the company.

“His innovative spirit and remarkable accomplishments will forever be remembered by people around the world,” Choi said in the statement.
