Namibia’s Private Sector Credit Climbed 11.9% in August

Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Namibia’s private sector credit growth accelerated to 11.9 percent in August from 11 percent a month earlier, the country’s central bank said.

Broad money supply rose 10.5 percent compared with 9.1 percent in July, the Windhoek-based Bank of Namibia said in an e-mailed report today.

Total foreign reserves declined 5.5 percent to 11.2 billion Namibia dollars ($1.4 billion), it said.
