IMF Help in Fixing Debt Crisis Needed, Finland’s Urpilainen Says

Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- The International Monetary Fund is needed in quelling the sovereign debt crisis in Europe, Finland’s Finance Minister Jutta Urpilainen said at a press briefing in Helsinki today.

The IMF couldn’t have dealt with the Greek crisis alone, she said. “Finland thinks the role of IMF in dealing with the debt crisis should be strengthened.”
