Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz cars sales rose 0.7 percent in September to 129,476 vehicles, the company said in an e-mailed statement today.
“We will continue to grow in the fourth quarter as well,” Joachim Schmidt, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Mercedes-Benz Cars, said in the statement.
Sales of the Mercedes-Benz brand rose 2 percent in September to 120,982 units. Smart brand sales fell 15.6 percent to 8,494 vehicles, the company said.
