Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Venezuela raised price caps on powdered milk and vegetable oil for the second time this year by as much as 37 percent, according to a resolution published today in the Official Gazette.
The cost of a 900-gram can of powdered milk rose 27.6 percent to 30.29 bolivars ($7.05) from 23.74 bolivars ($5.53), according to the Gazette. A 1-liter bottle of corn oil rose 37.1 percent to 10.69 bolivars ($2.49). The regulated prices of sunflower oil and liquid milk were also raised.
