Thailand Approves 20 Billion Baht in Zero-Interest Housing Loans

Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Thailand’s Cabinet today approved a plan for the Government Housing Bank to lend 20 billion baht ($642 million) with zero interest to first-time home buyers.

The move will help low-income earners who have never owned a house, the Cabinet said in a statement.
