Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Gazprombank, the lending arm of Russia’s natural-gas export monopoly, named Ekaterina Trofimova its first vice president, the lender said in a statement on its website today.

Trofimova, who was a banking analyst for Russia and former Soviet states at Standard & Poor’s in Paris, will oversee investor and client relations and the introduction of international best practices at the Moscow-based bank, according to the statement.
