AIG Warrants Plunge as Insurer’s Stock Drops for Third Day

Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- American International Group Inc. warrants plunged the most since August to another record as the insurer fell for a third day in New York trading.

The 10-year warrants, which allow investors to buy common stock at $45 a share, dropped 69 cents, or 13 percent, to $4.72 at 3:04 p.m. after falling as low as $4.66 earlier in the day. The stock slipped $1.05, or 5.1 percent, to $19.41. The warrants began trading in January at more than $20 each.
