Korea Exchange Halts Program Trading After Kospi Futures Fall

Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- South Korea’s exchange said it halted program trading of shares on the main Kospi market after futures tumbled. Program trading will be stopped for 5 minutes from 9:06 a.m. local time after Kospi 200 futures fell more than 5 percent for more than a minute, Korea Exchange Inc. said today in a regulatory filing.
