Hungary Government to Take Over County Institutions, Orban Says

Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Hungary’s government will take over county-level institutions as of 2012, freeing them of 180 billion forint of debt, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.

Counties from next year will focus on development aid, Orban told a press conference in Budapest today. The government signed an agreement to this effect today with the heads of all 19 counties, Orban said.
