Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP hired Marc Hammerson, formerly of London-based Stephenson Harwood Ltd.’s energy group, to be a partner in its project finance and infrastructure practice.
“He has advised on projects around the world, so he is a perfect fit for our global practice,” John LaMaster, the head of New York-based Dewey & LeBoeuf’s oil-and-gas sector group, said today in an e-mailed statement.
Hammerson has worked on mergers and acquisitions, project financing and private-equity investment on projects in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa, according to the statement. He will be based in the London office.
His hiring is the eighth the firm has made this year in its global energy practice.
