China Ministry Says U.S. Currency Measures Violate W.T.O. Rules

Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. vote to consider measures that would let American businesses seek duties on Chinese imports because of the value of the yuan violate World Trade Organization rules, Ma Zhaoxu, China foreign ministry spokesman, said on the ministry website today.

The U.S. should stop politicizing trade issues, according to Ma.
