Carney Says Obama Would Sign Portions of Jobs Bill If Passed

Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama would sign portions of his jobs bill if Congress passes part of the legislation, and would continue to push for enactment of everything he’s proposed, White House press secretary Jay Carney said.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, a Virginia Republican, said today that the House won’t vote on the full proposal.
