Brazilian Coffee Exports Dropped 9.8 Percent in September

Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Coffee shipments from Brazil, the world’s largest producer and exporter, declined 9.8 percent in September from a year earlier, Brazil’s Trade Ministry said.

Exports fell to 2.66 million bags, from 2.95 million bags a year earlier, the ministry said today in a report on its website. A bag of coffee weighs 60 kilograms.
