Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor Budi Mulya is under investigation by the state auditor regarding a “personal” loan he obtained from the former owner of PT Bank Century, Difi Johansyah, a spokesman at the central bank said, in Jakarta today.
The investigation is part of a state audit of Bank Century’s fund flow, Johansyah said. Mulya obtained the 1 billion rupiah loan in October 2008 and returned it in January 2009, Johansyah said. Mulya didnt return calls to his mobile phone seeking confirmation.
