Ackermans, Omega, Swedish Automobile: Benelux Equity Preview

Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies may have unusual price changes in Benelux markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are from the previous close.

The AEX-Index in Amsterdam fell 1.3 percent to 280.18. Belgium’s Bel20 Index dropped 1.5 percent to 2,131.28. Luxembourg’s LuxX Index retreated 0.8 percent to 1,084.03.

Dutch stocks:

Swedish Automobile NV (SWAN NA): The Dutch owner of cash- strapped Saab Automobile said it’s discussing lowering the price at which Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile Co. and Pang Da Automobile Trade Co. plan to buy shares of the company. The shares slid 4.6 percent to 1.04 euros.

Grontmij NV (GRONT NA): The Dutch designer of roads and bridges agreed to sell the Telecoms division of its French unit to the management and MBO Partenaires. Grontmij fell 0.4 percent to 10.60 euros.

Belgian stocks:

Ackermans & van Haaren NV (ACKB BB): The investment company with holdings in dredging, financial services and private equity said Delen Investments CVA completed the purchase of a 73.5 percent stake in London-based wealth manager JM Finn & Co. Ltd. The shares fell 2.8 percent to 53.06 euros.

Omega Pharma NV (OME BB): Belgium’s biggest supplier of pharmacy products said it spent 26.9 million euros buying back an additional 779,106 own shares in on- and off-market transactions in the period from Sept. 22 through Sept. 30. The shares dropped 0.4 percent to 34.50 euros.
