Teva Surges Most in 10 Months After Advancing in U.S. Trade

Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. soared the most in 10 months following advances in New York trading.

The shares gained 5.7 percent, the biggest increase since Dec. 9, to 140.70 shekels, the equivalent of $37.53, at the 4:30 p.m. close in Tel Aviv. The U.S.-traded shares closed at $37.22 on Sept. 30 after gaining 5 percent while the Israeli market was closed for a Jewish holiday.
