Greek Labor Reserve System to Save 300 Million Euros in 2012

Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Greece will save 300 million euros in 2012 by implementing a labor reserve system for 30,000 state workers by the end of the year, according to statement from the Athens-based office of the government spokesman.

The system, which will put workers on reduced pay, will focus on those who are eligible for retirement in the next 24 months, according to the statement.
