Turkish Natural-Gas Provider Increases Prices Up to 14% on Lira

Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Botas Boru Hatlari Ile Petrol Tasima AS said it will raise residential natural-gas prices by 12.3 percent to 14.3 percent, citing increases on international markets and the declining value of the Turkish lira.

The new pricing will take effect today, the Ankara-based gas distributor said. Fees for industrial clients will go up 13.7 percent to 14.3 percent, Botas said.
