Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Enel SpA subsidiary Enel Distribuzione will receive a 350 million-euro ($469 million) loan from the European Investment Bank to cover part of its investments in Italy’s electricity network.
The funds will be paid by the end of 2011 and are part of a 20-year financing agreement, Enel said today in a stock-exchange statement. The EIB is willing to provide as much as 1 billion euros in all for the network investment, the company said.
