Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Zambia’s trade surplus widened to 795 billion kwacha ($166 million) in August compared with a month earlier, the statistics agency said.
The surplus increased from 440.7 billion kwacha in July, the Lusaka-based Central Statistics Office said in an e-mailed statement today.
Exports rose to 3.75 trillion kwacha and imports fell to 3.06 trillion kwacha, it said.
