Zambia’s Sata Orders Probe of FirstRand Purchase of Finance Bank

Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Zambian President Michael Sata ordered a probe into the sale of Finance Bank Zambia to Johannesburg-based FirstRand Ltd.
The government will also investigate Libya’s LAP Green Networks’ acquisition of Zambia Telecommunications Corp., Sata said in a speech today in Lusaka after swearing in Cabinet ministers.
