South Africa Inflation-Linked Bond Yields Rise at Auction

Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Yields of South Africa’s inflation- linked bonds rose at an auction of the debt today, according to the Pretoria-based Reserve Bank’s data on Bloomberg.

The central bank sold 155 million rand of notes due 2022 at an average yield of 2.47 percent, two basis points higher than at the previous auction on Sept. 27. It sold 215 million rand of bonds due 2028 at a yield of 2.54 percent, and 230 million rand of securities due 2033 at a yield of 2.54 percent.
