Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet will hold talks on the euro and other currencies with Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Oct. 6, the German government press office said today at a press conference.

The meeting will also be attended by World Bank President Robert Zoellick and Angel Gurria, secretary general of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
