Sept. 30 (Bloomberg) -- Benchmark European coal declined, heading for the biggest monthly drop since March 2010.
Thermal coal for delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp with settlement next year declined 0.4 percent to $123.10 a metric ton as of 11:55 a.m. in London. The contract has lost 5.5 percent this month and 4.2 percent this quarter, the biggest drop since the three months ending March 2009.
